I didn't play Mass Effect until some years after it had come out; I want to say I picked it up before the third game released, but it might have been shortly after. I loved it immediately. I'm a huge sucker for space operas, but I'd never gotten to experience one as a video game before. Everything about it drew me in immediately: the setting, the characters, even the clunky gameplay of the first title.

In the years since, I've replayed the games many times, and each time I find something new about them to love. My favorite character is Miranda, but I'm very fond of many other characters in the series, particularly Garrus, Wrex, Grunt, Mordin, and Legion.

I'd love to expand this to a fansite in the future, probably after I next replay the games. Please look forward to it!
